This is the bible verse in Philippians 3 about leaving the past behind and pressing towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. This rusty iron arrow hinge on the grungy wood door seemed to call for this scripture.

My name is Kathy Clark and I live in Hartselle, Alabama with my husband Tom, and my daughters, Michelle & Jessica, and granddaughter Tasha & great-granddaughter Ava living fairly close by. However I spent most of my life in Alaska where I learned to appreciate the world around me. I love God's creation and find photography a great way to capture some of that beauty. Digital photography made it even easier to do so. I use a Canon 7D and a Canon Rebel XTi, and Canon lenses, 18mm to 55mm, 75mm to 300mm, and my favorite a 100mm macro lens. I enjoying photographing flowers, especially wildflowers, insects, and birds, the most.
