My name is Kathy Clark and I live in Hartselle, Alabama with my husband Tom, and my daughters, Michelle & Jessica, and granddaughter Tasha & great-granddaughter Ava living fairly close by. However I spent most of my life in Alaska where I learned to appreciate the world around me. I love God's creation and find photography a great way to capture some of that beauty. Digital photography made it even easier to do so. I use a Canon 7D and a Canon Rebel XTi, and Canon lenses, 18mm to 55mm, 75mm to 300mm, and my favorite a 100mm macro lens. I enjoying photographing flowers, especially wildflowers, insects, and birds, the most. I use occasionally some textures and brushes from French Kiss Textures, and Brusheezy, Michael Sebastian textures,...

Kathy - great capture! Our dog TOTO decided to keep barking at one in our backyard tree - which got a little OLD. So brought the dog in and let the Opossum escape. Oh - and as we have rescued so many animals over the decades, bless you for feeding the feral kitties. If you get their trust, they are yours forever.
Kathy Clark replied:
Thank you Alanna. I feed about 9, give or take a few, feral kitties, and a few skunks, possums, raccoons, and a blue fox every now and then, good thing we own a restaurant. ha.

Great capture kathy!! One of the most interesting animals I have ever come across. The first time I came across one was when I was living in Oregon, many years ago!
Kathy Clark replied:
There pretty cool. I don't think they are always ugly, but can be. This guy is eating one of the left over chicken tenders we put out for the feral kitties.
