These are the colorful seed pods of a Alabama wildflower called by several names, Carolina Geranium, Carolina Cranesbill - Geranium carolinianum. This one was growing in Morgan County Alabama USA.

My name is Kathy Clark and I live in Hartselle, Alabama with my husband Tom, and my daughters, Michelle & Jessica, and granddaughter Tasha & great-granddaughter Ava living fairly close by.
