This is a common hydrangea blossom. These are usually pink or blue depending on the ph of the soil. I use a fertilizer on mine that always makes it this wonderful shade of purple. This one is opening up pink, magenta and white, but will turn deep purple in the end.

My name is Kathy Clark and I live in Hartselle, Alabama with my husband Tom, and my daughters, Michelle & Jessica, and granddaughter Tasha & great-granddaughter Ava living fairly close by.
