Referring to your comment of my image, yes, you do have a shot of a male House Finch! And a very lovely one. I like his pose, the beautiful shape of the black metal, and the wonderful defocused background color! These birds always look to me like someone turned them upside down and dipped them half-way in some red Easter-egg coloring, lol!

Too funny Betty, but you are right. When our feeder is loaded down with cardinals, indigo buntings and these guys my husband says they look like brightly colored easter eggs, so you two think alike. Thank you for your nice comments.
