This is a tiny wildflower that comes up in our lawn in Morgan County Alabama USA. It is a native plant to the area. It is called by several names, Blue-eyed Grass, Stout Blue-eyed Grass, Narrowleaf Blue-eyed Grass - Sisyrinchium angustifolium. Even though it is quite little it makes a statement with is beauty.
My name is Kathy Clark and I live in Hartselle, Alabama with my husband Tom, and my daughters, Michelle & Jessica, and granddaughter Tasha & great-granddaughter Ava living fairly close by. However I spent most of my life in Alaska where I learned to appreciate the world around me. I love God's creation and find photography a great way to capture some of that beauty. Digital photography made it even easier to do so. I use a Canon 7D and a Canon Rebel XTi, and Canon lenses, 18mm to 55mm, 75mm to 300mm, and my favorite a 100mm macro lens. I enjoying photographing flowers, especially wildflowers, insects, and birds, the most.
